What you will study 

Level 1

Four core units:

• Being Organised

• Developing a Personal Progression Plan

• Working with Others

• Researching a topic

Six optional units covering topics such as:

• Finding out about businesses in your area

• Organising a meeting

• Branding a Product

• Presenting a business idea

• Contributing to running an event

• Communicating with customers

External examinations/assessment and internally assessed assignments.

Your next steps...

Further study 

On completion with the appropriate pass and English and maths grades, you can progress through the levels.
A range of higher education courses such as HNC/HND, foundation degrees, honours degrees in Management and Business offered by Wakefield College.
Alternatively, there are opportunities for Apprenticeships in areas such as Accounting and Business Administration.
